Suicide and White Noise

A leaf falls

From a canopy,

Caught silhouetted in komorebi.


Are a girls best friend,

And death her lover at the end.

While I waste away –

Withdrawals decay –

And emotive love

My stowaway –

Come to soldiers in a row,

Who cut their throats in days last glow.

Our dreams dissect –

Her apathy.

Those who befriend,



As leaves land in their open graves,

The dying,

The dead,

The heart

The naive,

The long embrace,

Her names, alone,

Etched in granite, carved in stone

Their cries begin to plateau:

“Her name, her name,”

Disorder: The Creeping Willow…
