Illusionary Loiterer (Revisited, 18th August 2014)

Your impression remains,
illusionary loiterer of clandestine lives,
what times fade with anguished distinction
when rich smoke flatters faith and hope,
but it all turns stale with expectancy,
would I sacrifice the many for you?
When pipe-dreams and hankerings
persist and continue, enduring
possessions and troubles,
spectral, unreal, insubstantial,
your impression remains.
