The Human Consortium (A Sedoka)

The last of us fell
between the concrete fractures
and steel memories of life.

Nature gave the lot
and we took with our eyes closed
until nobody remained.

  1. I took my adverse opinion due to my initial understanding this poem reflecting a universal approach, encompassing the whole of mankind. If, however, this poems simply describes a single humane event, it perfectly matches and no dissenting thought is applicable. In this sense the poem reflects a certain truth, and that’s it.

    1. Both are intriguing ideas, I have to say I had not considered them a completely. I was originally commenting on the destructive impact humanity is having on our only world, and where this may lead. I like your comment, thank you.
