By Phen Weston and Frédéric G. Martin
(I had the great pleasure and honour of working with the very talented Frédéric G. Martin over the last week. He is an inspiring and fantastic poet and if you don’t already follow him… Why not? Are you insane? His blog is linked below.)
Virescent hydration
Flourishes pseudomorph
Connections with copper
Contemplations
Malachite prayer
Time in geosynchronous orbit
Petrified devotion
Growth rings of spiritual elevation
Tabular consciousness
Holds prismatic memories
What crystallised destiny
Wakes within your core
And stone
Becomes aware
Heaviness
Evaporates into thin air
They say, “We are the stuff
That dreams are made on,”
But, what dreams you conjure
Within your graceful lines,
“And our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.”
But, what passions you remember
Within your heavy silences.
