So You’re Engaged

Spring is here,
But in my heart
Winter settles,
Snow blankets
My world, bitter,
Inhospitable, endless,
Piercing winds
Echo through me,
Summer is no more,
Frozen sun falls
From the sky,
Shattering, it hits
The wretched dead soil,
Autumn’s stunning
Blushing colours
Fade, everything
Turns the colour
Of my numb heart,
Siberian I die…
